Narang General Store

Narang General Store is located at 774, Dugri Road in Ludhiana. We are right by the Shani Dev Mandir, which is a very well-known spot around here. The 141003 area is often full of vehicles and people visiting the temple. Our shop is a straightforward place with shelves that we built ourselves a long time ago. We spend a lot of time looking at the inventory and seeing what needs to be ordered for the next week. Ludhiana winters are cold, so we bundle up while sitting behind the counter. In the summer, the sun hits the front of the shop directly. We have all sorts of general items piled up, from cleaning supplies to snacks. The address at 774 Dugri Road is easy to spot because of the temple landmark. We don't use any fancy management software; it's mostly just memory and some old registers. The floor gets scuffed from all the shoes coming in and out. We try to keep it clean, but with the road right there, the dust is constant. It’s a lot of standing and reaching for items on the high shelves. Sometimes we sit on the plastic chairs outside when the shop is empty. It’s just a normal business run by normal people. We have been in this spot for years and the routine hasn't changed much. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing.
