Nagesh Knitwear Private Limited

Our place is right on GT Road West. It’s a busy stretch of road, always full of trucks and people moving goods. Being here means we are right in the middle of everything. We’ve been doing knitwear for a long time. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy and fits all our equipment. Inside, it’s mostly rows of machines and piles of finished sweaters and tops. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We have a crew that’s been with us through many seasons. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people mostly know us because we’ve been on this road for so long. The winters are our busiest time, obviously. We spend those months working late shifts to keep up. In the summer, it stays hot inside despite the fans, but we keep at it. It’s a bit dusty, as any place with lots of wool and yarn will be. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come in, you’ll probably find someone busy at a desk or checking the quality of a batch. We just focus on the production side of things. It’s what we know. GT Road has changed over the years, getting wider and more crowded, but we’re still here doing the same work. We don't mind the noise much anymore, it's just part of the background of our lives here.
