We are located on Street No. 11 in Mochpura Bazaar, which is right across from the main Wool Market. It’s a very busy part of town and there’s always someone unloading a truck or moving bags of raw material. We’ve been in this specific spot for a good while. Our focus is mainly on shawls, which is what most people in this area are looking for anyway. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space from the floor to the ceiling. If you come by, you’ll see piles of winter wear everywhere. We don't really do much advertising because people just know we are here. Most of our morning is spent answering the phone and writing down what needs to go out. The wool market across the street makes it easy for us to check on materials, but it also means the traffic is a nightmare. We keep a couple of chairs for visitors, though they usually end up covered in fabric samples. We use old-fashioned ledgers for our accounts because it’s what we are used to. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and counting pieces over and over to make sure the numbers are right. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just trying to keep the work moving steadily throughout the year. It’s a lot of hours, but the business stays steady enough for us.
