Our shop is over at A-27 and 28 in the Premier Industrial Complex. If you know the Nichi Mangli area on Chandigarh Road, you can find us easily enough. It’s a heavy industrial zone, so it’s always loud and a bit dusty. We handle industrial manufacturing. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch where you step. We have several large machines that take up most of the floor space. There’s always the sound of metal being cut or shaped. It’s not a job for someone who likes to stay clean. Our hands are usually stained with oil or grease by mid-morning. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. The walls are just plain brick and the floor is hard concrete. We have a small corner with a table where we look at drawings and plans. Most of the day is spent standing at the machines, making sure everything is being made to the right size. We’ve been in this complex for quite a few years. We know the other shop owners around us. Sometimes we borrow a tool or help each other out with a heavy lift. It’s a good community of working people. We don't do any flashy marketing. Most of our work comes from people who know what we can do. We just try to get the jobs done on time and make sure the parts are solid. It’s basic, honest work.
