We’re tucked away in Guru Vihar on Rahon Road, here in Ludhiana. The address is B-32-139/2 if you’re looking for the exact spot. Metzii Fashions is what we call our little operation. It’s mainly a bunch of us who enjoy the process of putting together new styles. We aren't some massive factory, just a local LLP trying to make a mark. The roads around here can get pretty muddy when it rains, but we still make it in every day. Our work involves a lot of sitting at machines and checking the details of every piece we finish. We don't use fancy jargon or try to sound like we're from a big fashion capital. We’re just Ludhiana people making clothes for other people. Sometimes we have tea breaks that last a bit too long, but we always get the work done in the end. It can be stressful when a deadline is coming up and we’re short on material, but we usually find a way to fix it. We like the community feel of Rahon Road. There are always people passing by and saying hello. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve learned that being consistent is more important than being flashy. We just take it day by day, making sure we stay busy and keep the machines running. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s our grind and we’re used to it.
