You can find Bhandari Hosiery Exports Ltd. at Bhandari House in Village Meharban. We are right on Rahon Road. It is a bit away from the main city hub, but that gives us more space to work. The building is quite large and we've been here for a long time. People around the village know the Bhandari House name. We do a lot of hosiery work here. The machines run pretty much all day. It’s a family-run kind of place even though we've grown over the years. We handle everything from the knitting to the final packing. Rahon Road gets quite dusty, especially when the big trucks pass by. We have a lot of workers from the nearby areas who walk or cycle in every morning. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't into flashy advertising or anything like that. We just focus on getting the exports ready for the containers. The office part is on one side, and the production floor takes up most of the rest. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have generators to keep the knitting machines going. It’s just a regular factory life. We have lunch together in the canteen area sometimes. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it by now. The winters here get really cold, but the factory floor stays warm from all the activity of the people and machines.
