Mark Hosiery Mills

Mark Hosiery Mills is located at B/32/741/1a on Bahadur Ke Road, just off G. T. Road West. In Ludhiana, this area is packed with mills just like ours. We’ve been here a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it works for us. Inside, it’s mostly the hum of knitting machines. We make a lot of hosiery items, mostly sweaters and thermal wear when the season hits. The floor is always covered in bits of yarn and lint. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the books and talk to visitors. The traffic on G. T. Road can be a nightmare sometimes, especially when we’re trying to load a truck with boxes. We’ve got a small team, and most of them have been with us for years. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or shiny brochures. People in the trade know where we are. We just focus on getting the tension right on the machines and making sure the yarn is good quality. Sometimes we have to work through the night if a big shipment is due for the winter season. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We just take it one day at a time and keep the machines running. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s home to us. We enjoy the work.
