Karan Embroidery Works

Our shop is tucked away at B 2 Manna Singh Nagar, right near the Chhawani Mohalla area. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don't know the streets, but we like it this way. Karan Embroidery Works has been here for a bit, and we mostly focus on the thread work and designs that people bring to us. It’s a small place, and it’s usually filled with the sound of the needles moving. We have different colored threads everywhere you look, and some of the fabric rolls take up a lot of space. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it’s a workshop where we actually sit and do the work ourselves. We spend hours looking at the patterns and making sure the embroidery looks the way it’s supposed to. It can be quite tiring on the eyes after a long day, but we are used to it. The neighborhood is mostly residential with small businesses mixed in, so it’s fairly quiet except for the occasional street vendor passing by. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer phones; we just handle everything ourselves as it comes in. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from someone else. We just try to do a decent job and keep the machines in good shape. It’s a steady kind of life, working with our hands in this little corner of Manna Singh Nagar.
