Mamta Kirana Store

Mamta Kirana Store is located right in the middle of the industrial area on R.K. Road. We are in the part called Transport Nagar, which is quite close to Cheema Chowk. It is a very busy part of town to be in. There are big trucks everywhere and a lot of noise from the nearby factories. We started this store to serve the people who are working hard around here. It is a practical place for daily needs. We don't have fancy glass displays or bright neon lights. Just the basic stuff people need during their long work day. The dust from the road comes in quite a bit, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the counters. Being near Cheema Chowk means there is always a lot of traffic. We see many drivers and workers from the various transport companies. They stop in for small things on their way through the city. It is a rough and tumble area, definitely not a quiet village spot. We like the energy of the industrial area though. R.K. Road is always moving and changing. We open up early because many workers start their shifts before the sun is even up. We stay open late too to catch the guys finishing their day. It’s just us running the place, no big corporate staff. Mamta Kirana Store is just a small spot among the big warehouses.
