You can find us at House Number 1593 in Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. We are located near Golden Park and right opposite the small gate of the ATI. It is a good spot because people walking to the park often stop in for a bottle of water or some biscuits. We carry all the standard karyana items like pulses, rice, spices, and tea leaves. The shop is tucked into a busy street where there are always bikes and rickshaws going past at all hours. We have a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in with a few coins to buy sweets or small toys. We try to keep the prices fair and the quality as good as we can find in the markets. The storage space is a bit tight, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. In the winter, Ludhiana gets quite cold, so we bundle up while we wait for customers to come by. We do everything ourselves, from sweeping the front to stocking the heavy sacks of grain. It is a lot of lifting and moving things around throughout the day. The shop isn't anything special to look at, but it has everything a household needs. We just focus on getting through the daily chores and making sure we have the items people ask for most.
