Krishna Overseas

We are out in Industrial Area A at plot number 1958. It is not the most beautiful part of town, but it is where the work gets done. There are big trucks moving in and out of the lane all day long, and you can hear the sound of metal and engines from the neighboring plots. Our building is a simple concrete structure. We have a small office area at the front and a larger space for storage and work in the back. It gets quite hot under the tin roof during the summer months. We drink a lot of water and keep the big floor fans running. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We are not trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. It is an industrial site, so things are a bit messy and there is always something that needs fixing. We spend our days checking orders and making sure the loaders are doing their jobs right. 1958 is a big plot so we have enough room to move things around. The canteen nearby serves decent food, so that is where we usually go for a quick bite. It is a tough environment but we are used to the grit and the hard work. We stay until the job is finished, even if the sun has already gone down.
