Krishana Jain

Out here at Vasant Chowk in Ludhiana, we have been running things under the name Krishana Jain. It’s a busy spot, as anyone who knows Ludhiana can tell you. The traffic outside is always something else. We are just a local setup. We don’t have any big corporate backing or a massive team. It’s just us doing what we do every day. People stop in when they are passing through the chowk. Sometimes they are looking for specific items, other times they just want to ask a question. The space is a bit tight, but we make it work. I keep the files on the old wooden desk. It’s not the most modern look, but it has served us well. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there is never enough time to shut down for a day to do it. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It gets dusty with the road being so close, so we are always cleaning the glass. People in the neighborhood know us by name now. We don’t really use fancy flyers or anything like that to get people in. It is just a steady flow of regulars. If you find yourself near Vasant Chowk, you will likely see us. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done and deal with the heat and the noise like everyone else in Ludhiana.
