Our factory is situated in Village Panglian, which is just off Chandigarh Road near Po. Heeran. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like being out here where there is more room. Kitty Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this community for quite some time now. Most of the people working here live nearby in the village or the surrounding areas. It’s a big site because we need the space for our production lines and the storage of ingredients. Usually, the air smells like fresh baking or whatever is being processed that day. It’s not a quiet place; there are machines running almost twenty-four hours a day and trucks coming in to pick up the goods. We don’t have a fancy corporate office with glass walls. Our office is just a small part of the main building where we keep the records and talk to the distributors. It gets busy in the mornings when the shifts change and everyone is arriving. We try to keep things organized, but in a big industrial setup, there is always something that needs fixing or moving. We focus on the daily output and making sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the gates. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing every day.
