Kay & Kay Apparels

Our place is in the Industrial Area-A Extension, right near Cheema Chowk. It’s a busy and loud part of Ludhiana. You won’t find any fancy showrooms or glass windows here. It’s mostly warehouses and factories. We are Kay & Kay Apparels. We work out of Plot No. 7-A. The building is functional and nothing more. We spend our days surrounded by heavy machines and big rolls of cloth. It’s noisy and a bit dusty, but that’s the nature of being in an industrial area. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a pretty storefront. We just focus on making the apparel. There’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy boxes around. Every day is a bit different depending on what orders we are working on at the moment. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done without being told. Sometimes we have to work through the night to meet a deadline. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually quite tired by the end of the shift. Cheema Chowk is always jammed with trucks and tempos, so getting things in and out can be a real headache. We just take it in stride. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the other business owners nearby. We help each other out when we can. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don't have time for anything that isn't related to the work at hand. That’s just the way we like to run things here.
