Karamjot Knitwears

Over here in Basti Jodhewal, things are always a bit busy. We run Karamjot Knitwears from this area, which is known for its textile and hosiery work. You can hear the hum of machines from many of the buildings around here, and ours is no different. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood with narrow lanes that get crowded with bikes and carts. Inside our place, we have our setup for knitting and handling the garments. There are piles of yarn and finished pieces sitting around most of the time. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s mostly just where the work happens. The lighting isn't the best in some corners, but we know exactly where everything is kept. Usually, we are busy making sure the machines are running right and that the patterns are coming out okay. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the details. We’ve been in Basti Jodhewal for a while, so we are used to the pace here. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, and the heat in the summer can be tough when the machines are all going, but we just get on with it. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a big office, we just want to get the knitwear done and out the door. Most of our days are spent checking the quality and packing things up for whoever is picking them up.
