Kansal Knitwears

Kansal Knitwears is located at 281 in Industrial Area A. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s mostly factories and warehouses. It’s dusty and loud most of the time, with tractors and trucks moving through the narrow lanes. We have our setup inside number 281, where we handle all the knitting work. It’s a lot of metal and yarn everywhere you look. During the busy season, the machines hardly stop, and the floor gets covered in bits of thread. We don't have a big reception area or a place for people to sit and wait. It’s a working floor first and foremost. We mostly focus on getting the sweaters and other knit items ready for the markets. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of life in an industrial zone. Most of the guys working here have been with us for a long time, so they know exactly how the machines sound when something is off. We eat our lunch together in the small back room when we get a break. It's honest work and it gets tiring, but seeing the finished pieces stacked up at the end of the week feels good. We aren't doing anything flashy here at Kansal Knitwears. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running to meet the orders on time.
