K.K. Nandi & Co.

Our business, K.K. Nandi & Co., is located on Gill Road in the Oswal Street area. We are right near the Nirmal Market. This part of town is pretty well-known for being a hub for trade and industrial parts. We’ve been around for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We have a lot of history in these walls. My father or grandfather might have even known some of the people we still deal with today. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just have our shop where we keep all our supplies and ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. People come in, we talk over some tea, and we settle the business. We don't like to rush things. The street outside is always noisy with trucks and rickshaws, but once you step inside, it’s just us. We deal with various industrial items, and we know our inventory by heart. You won’t find any corporate slogans here. We just show up every morning and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the winter mornings on Gill Road are freezing, but we open up the shutters anyway. It’s a life we are used to. We don't need any fancy words to describe what we do. We just work. It's a simple way to spend the day, really, and it keeps us out of trouble.
