Jewal International Knitwear

You can find us at No. 47 Industrial Area, right near the main gate. Jewal International Knitwear has been operating out of this spot for a good chunk of time. We use the Po Box No. 770 for all our mail since things sometimes get lost in the shuffle of a big industrial zone. It’s a lot of gray buildings around here, but we know our way around. The work is mostly about managing the looms and making sure the thread doesn't snap every five minutes. It’s dusty work, and the fans never seem to be fast enough in the summer. We mostly just stick to ourselves and get the orders finished. My desk is usually buried under a pile of invoices and scraps of fabric samples. It isn't a showroom, just a place where things get made. Sometimes we have to stay late when the machines act up or a shipment is behind. That's just how the garment business goes. People call it international, but to us, it’s just the daily grind in the Industrial Area. We see the same tea stall guy every morning. It’s a routine that works for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the knitwear is solid and the boxes get loaded onto the trucks on time. It’s practical work for practical people. We don't have a big corporate board, just us figuring it out day by day.
