Jain Amber Hosiery Mills

The machines are pretty loud today. We have been here on Rai Bahadur Road for a long time now. People usually find us easily because of the old sign out front. Jain Amber Hosiery Mills isn't a fancy place, just a lot of yarn and needles and busy people. Sometimes the tea guy comes late, and we just keep working on the socks and vests while we wait. It gets a bit dusty with all the fabric flying around, but that is just how it is in a mill. My father used to say the location is good because the transport trucks can get in and out easily, though the traffic on Rai Bahadur Road is getting much worse every year. We spend most of our mornings just checking the inventory and making sure the knit is right on every piece. It is a lot of manual work. You won't find anything shiny or corporate here. Just shelves full of hosiery and people who know how to run the looms. We do not really do much advertising. People just know we are here at this address. Some days we stay late just to finish a big batch for a regular. It is hard work, but it is what we do. The building is old, and the stairs creak a bit when you walk up. But it holds everything we need to get the job done. Most of the staff have been with us for years.
