Jain Amar Hosiery Factory

You can find the Jain Amar Hosiery Factory inside the Pipal Building over in Chaw Bazar. It is one of those old buildings that has seen a lot of history. Chaw Bazar is always crowded, with people everywhere and carts moving through the lanes. It is a lively place to work, even if it gets a bit noisy sometimes during the peak hours. We make hosiery items. It is what we have always done. The machines make a lot of noise, and the floors are always covered in little bits of thread. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and see us working. It is an honest living. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners around the Pipal Building. We share tea and talk about the day. We do not have a grand vision or anything promotional to say. We just try to make sure the hosiery we produce is good enough to sell. Some days are really hot, especially in the summer, and the factory gets stuffy, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. It is a local business, run by local people. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide for our families and keep the factory running smoothly every day.
