You can find us out in Village Dhaipai, which is near Jodhan Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana. It is quite a bit away from the main city rush, which we prefer. We work with fats and oils, so the whole facility has a very specific smell that sticks to your clothes. It’s an old-school kind of setup. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, if you come by, you have to find us in the back near the processing tanks. The work is messy and involves a lot of cleaning and heavy lifting. We hire people from the surrounding village areas, so the atmosphere is very local and informal. We talk about the weather and the crops while we work. The road leading to our gate can get quite muddy when it rains, making it hard for the trucks to pass. We don't have a polished website or any marketing materials. We just produce the oil and sell it to whoever needs it. Some days are slow and we just sit around the yard, and other days we are working around the clock to finish a batch. We use a generator when the power fails, which happens quite often out here. It’s just a practical, rural business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just do our jobs and go home to our families in the evening.
