Jagdambay Gernal Stores

We are located at Old Anjirwadi on Dr Mascarenhas Road in Ludhiana. Jagdambay Gernal Stores has been around this part of town for quite some time. The building is old, and you can see it in the walls and the ceiling, but it works for us. We stock all the basic necessities that people in Anjirwadi need every day. It’s a lot of pulses, oils, and cleaning supplies. I usually spend my mornings checking what we’re low on and calling the suppliers. The street outside, Dr Mascarenhas Road, has its own rhythm. You see the same people walking to work every morning. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things high. Sometimes I need a ladder just to get a box of soap down for someone. It’s a bit cramped, especially when more than three people are inside at once. I try to keep things organized, but it’s hard when new stock arrives and there's nowhere to put it. We don't have fancy signs or bright lights. It's just a place where you can get your daily things without much fuss. Usually, I’m just chatting with the regulars about how things are going in the neighborhood. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We just take it one day at a time and see what happens. It's been like this for years, and we don't expect it to change much. The rain sometimes leaks through the front door, but we just put a bucket down.
