Jagbir Singh

My name is Jagbir Singh and you can find me at Firoze Gandhi Market, shop number 45. I’ve been in this market for a long time. It’s a crowded place, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping or doing business. My space is small but it fits everything I need. I’ve got my desk, a few chairs for visitors, and stacks of files that I really should sort through one of these days. People stop by all the time, sometimes for business and sometimes just to say hello and drink some tea. That’s how it is in the market, everyone knows everyone else. I started out here years ago when I was much younger. The market has changed a lot since then, with new shops opening and old ones closing down. I just keep doing my thing. I don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to talk to me, you just come to the market and look for number 45. It’s easier that way. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but we just keep talking. It’s a simple life. I go home in the evening, eat dinner with my family, and then come back the next morning to do it all again. It’s what I know.
