Jagat Karyana Store

If you head down Barota Road in the Shimlapuri area, you will eventually find Jagat Karyana Store. We are located at 1916/1. This is a very hardworking neighborhood and we try to work just as hard as everyone else around here. We keep all the basic staples that a family needs to get through their week. We have rice, flour, different pulses, and some other common household items too. The shop is quite small and all the shelves are made of old, worn wood. It definitely isn't a polished or modern-looking place. We often have large bags of grain just sitting on the floor when a new delivery arrives. Ludhiana is a city full of workers, and we see them early in the morning before their shifts and late at night when they are heading home. We try to stay open late so that people can get whatever they need after they finish their work. It is just a small, family-run operation. We don’t have any kind of marketing plan or big business strategy. We just know what the people in Shimlapuri are looking for when they walk in. Sometimes we share a joke or a quick story with the regulars. It helps the long hours go by a little bit faster. This is just a regular karyana shop meant for the local community, and we are happy to be here.
