J Square Designers & Engineering Consultants

Our office is located at 438/R in the Model Town Extension. It’s a more residential part of Ludhiana, which makes it a bit nicer to work in than the crowded city center. J Square Designers & Engineering Consultants is a place where we do a lot of heavy thinking and math. We have these big tables for laying out technical drawings, and they are usually covered in pens and calculators. It’s not the kind of office you see in magazines. It’s practical. There are shelves full of old reference books and building codes that we’ve had for a decade. We aren't a big corporation with departments. It’s just us here, working through the details of whatever project is on the table. We often have clients stop by to look at prints, and we usually end up sitting in the small kitchen area because the main desk is too full of papers. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, which helps with the engineering side of things. We get our work done without much fanfare. Sometimes we struggle with a design for days before it clicks. It’s a lot of back and forth, and a lot of checking things twice. We don’t have a polished sales pitch. We just show people what we’ve drawn and explain how it’s going to work.
