Preet Forgings/Yerik International

We are located out in Village Rajgarh, right along the G.T. Road in Doraha. If you’ve ever driven that stretch, you know it’s a major route with trucks constantly rumbling past. That noise is basically the soundtrack to our days here at Preet Forgings and Yerik International. Being near the road is handy for moving stuff, but it also means it’s always busy. Inside the shop, it’s even louder because of the forging work. There’s a lot of heat and the heavy sound of metal being shaped. We’ve been in Doraha for a long time, and many of us come from the local villages around here. It’s a tough kind of work, and you definitely feel it in your bones at the end of the day. We don't have a glossy reception area; you’re more likely to find someone with grease on their hands than someone in a tie. We just focus on the forge and making sure the pieces come out the way they are supposed to. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit to get away from the heat of the hammers. It’s a straightforward life. We work hard, we deal with the dust and the noise, and we make sure the loads are ready for the trucks on the G.T. Road. There’s no mystery to it, just honest work in Village Rajgarh that keeps us all going.
