Down on Major General R. S. Grewal Road in the Bahadur Ke area, you’ll find J. M. Hosiery Mills. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t used to the industrial side of things, but this is where all the actual work happens. The building is large and houses all the machines we use for the hosiery production. It isn't a quiet place; there is always a hum of engines and the clacking of parts moving back and forth. We spend a lot of our time on the factory floor making sure the quality is decent and the workers have what they need to keep the lines moving. Being a private limited company sounds formal, but on the inside, it’s just a bunch of people in dusty clothes trying to get the orders filled. The road outside is often muddy during the rains, which makes getting the trucks in and out a bit of a challenge. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby; visitors usually just walk in and find whoever is available in the main office area. It’s a practical environment focused on output. We’ve been at this for a long time, and the walls show the age of the business, but the equipment inside is what really matters to us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without making much of a fuss about it.
