Indotech Engineers

Being located right under the Dholewal Flyover means it’s never really quiet at Indotech Engineers. The constant rumble of trucks on G.T. Road is like background music for us at number 36. It’s a bit of a gritty spot at the Dholewal Chowk, but it’s convenient for getting things in and out. The workshop is packed with lathes and tools that have been part of the family for years. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or a polished floor. Instead, we have heavy doors and sturdy workbenches. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the machines are running right. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we have a few old fans that do their best to move the air. We know the tea seller at the corner quite well, and he knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s a busy part of town, and sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere. We just wipe down the surfaces and keep going. Customers usually find us because they’ve been told we’re the guys under the bridge who know what they’re doing with metal. We don’t put on airs. We just open up in the morning, do the engineering work that needs doing, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a simple life at the Dholewal Chowk, and we like it that way. No frills, just honest work under the flyover.
