Inderjit Karyana Store

Inderjit Karyana Store is a simple place located in Aman Nagar, Ludhiana. We have been here for a long time, serving the local people who live in the 141008 area. Karyana is what we know best, so our shop is filled with things like grains, lentils, oils, and other cooking essentials. We don't try to be anything fancy. Our store has old wooden shelves and a heavy counter where we weigh everything out for the customers. Ludhiana can get very cold during the winter months, so we usually keep a small heater behind the counter to stay warm while we wait for people to come in. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the big bags of flour and rice arrive and need to be moved around. We don't have any employees, it’s just us and our family members helping out when things get busy. We know the price of everything we sell by heart, so there’s no need for price tags on every little item. Sometimes the bookkeeping gets a bit messy, but we always make sure the accounts are right at the end of the day. We aren't interested in turning this into a big supermarket or anything like that. We are happy being the local karyana store where people can just stop by, get what they need, and talk for a minute or two. It’s a quiet but full life here in Aman Nagar.
