Guru Krp Clth Hus Kirti Butqu & Art is located right at Jassian Chowk in the Haibowal Kalan area of Ludhiana. This isn't your typical grocery shop; we focus more on clothing and boutique work. Ludhiana is famous for its textiles, and we are just one small part of that big industry. We have rolls of cloth and different types of threads and buttons scattered around the place. There is always someone working on a sewing machine or measuring out fabric for a new suit. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but people around Jassian Chowk know us. We do some art work as well, which makes the shop look a bit different from the others on the street. It’s often a bit messy with scraps of fabric on the floor and half-finished projects sitting on the tables. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a workshop where things get made. People come to us when they want something specific stitched or when they need a particular type of fabric. We spend our days dealing with needles, thread, and the noise of the traffic from the chowk outside. It’s hard work and it can get tiring, but it’s what we do. We just try to get the orders done on time and keep the business going. It's just a small shop doing its own thing day in and day out.
