Gurmukh Kirana Store

Our shop, Gurmukh Kirana Store, is located over by the Ludhiana Bus Stand. If you know where Bunty Cola Drink is in Seetanagar, we are right near there at 520/9. It’s a very noisy part of town because of all the buses and people traveling through 141001. We get a lot of travelers coming in for a quick snack or a bottle of water before they catch their ride. But we also serve the local families in Seetanagar. We keep all the usual kirana items like flour, pulses, and soap. The shop is often a bit cluttered because we try to keep a lot of stock in a small space. Boxes are sometimes sitting on the floor while we wait to unpack them. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fan going. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the bus stand is always busy. We focus on getting people what they need quickly so they don't miss their bus. It’s a simple business. We buy things, we put them on the shelf, and we sell them to whoever walks through the door. No fuss, just a regular kirana store. We try to keep enough of everything so people aren't disappointed. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy every day.
