Jain Tractor Co.

Jain Tractor Co. is situated on Gopal Road, right opposite the Jagraon Bridge. It is a very noisy and busy part of the city, with rickshaws and cars constantly passing by. We have been here at this location for a very long time. Our shop is full of tractor parts, old engines, and tools. There is always a bit of grease on the floor and the smell of diesel in the air. We spend our days helping farmers and mechanics find the right pieces to fix their tractors. Sometimes it is a simple fix, and other times we have to spend hours searching through our old stock to find a specific gear or bolt. We don't have a big showroom with shiny new models. We are more about the repairs and the parts that keep the machines running in the fields. The office is just a corner of the shop with a desk that is usually buried under catalogs and greasy handprints. We sit on stools and drink tea while we talk to customers about their machines. Everyone around the Jagraon Bridge knows us. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just know tractors and we enjoy the work. It is a hands-on business and we are usually covered in oil by the time we go home. It is a good, honest way to spend the day in Ludhiana.
