Mahindra Saare Centre

Mahindra Saare Centre is located at B-XIII-1639 in Chaura Bazar. This is a very old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. We’ve been selling sarees here for a long time. The shop isn't very big, but we managed to fit a lot of variety onto our shelves. We have everything from simple cotton ones for everyday wear to the heavier ones people wear for weddings. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy mannequins in the window. Usually, we just hang a few pieces out front so people can see the colors as they walk by. Chaura Bazar is always loud and full of energy, which we’ve grown to love. We have a couple of benches where customers can sit while we unfold the sarees to show them the designs. It takes time to find the right one, and we don't like to rush anyone. We know most of the families who shop with us, and now we’re seeing their children come in too. We don't do any big sales or use loud speakers to attract attention. Our reputation is just based on the fact that we’ve been here for years and we treat people fairly. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the stock and keep going. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. It is a long day but we enjoy seeing the colors.
