Kamalakanta Enterprises

Kamalakanta Enterprises is located down in Raekot Prahalad Nagar. It’s not a very large operation, just a modest setup where we handle various goods that local folks need. We started out small and haven't really felt the need to change much over the years. The building is an older one, so it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the street. We deal with a lot of different supplies, mostly practical things that people use in their homes or for their small jobs. It’s usually just us here from early morning until the sun goes down. The floor is made of stone and shows the wear from all the boxes we slide across it every day. You won’t find any big advertisements or flashy displays at our place in Raekot Prahalad Nagar. We prefer to keep things quiet and straightforward. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely silent for hours. We just take things as they come. My cousin helps me with the accounts once a week because I’m not very good with the paperwork side of things. Most of the people who come by are neighbors we’ve known for a decade. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people know the way. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the supplies are decent. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough.
