Gmc Engg Works

If you head down Gill Road and turn into Dashmesh Nagar, you’ll find us on Street Number 17. Our place, Gmc Engg Works, is right there near the UCO Bank. It’s a bit tucked away at 22/2391, but once you hear the machines running, you know you’re in the right spot. We do a lot of metalwork and repair jobs here. It’s a noisy shop, and there’s usually grease on someone’s hands. That’s just the nature of engineering work. We’ve got various lathes and welding tools scattered around the floor. It might look a bit messy to someone from the outside, but we know where everything is. The street is usually full of bikes and people going to the bank, so it stays lively. We spend our days mostly bent over workbenches or fixing something that a customer brought in because it stopped working. We aren't the type to sit around in suits. We’re usually in our work clothes, trying to figure out a tricky problem with a machine part. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to take a break, but otherwise, we’re pretty much always at it. Being on Uco Bank Street means we get a lot of people stopping by just to chat or ask a quick question about a project they’re starting. It’s a good community to be in and we have been here for years.
