Girnar Hosiery Works

Street No. 6 in Guru Nanak Dev Nagar is where you will find us. We are tucked away in Basti Jodhewal, which is a pretty crowded part of town. If you are coming here for the first time, you might miss the turn because the lanes are quite narrow and there is always something going on. We have been working out of this space for years. It is a bit cramped with all the boxes and the hosiery stock piled up, but we make it work. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops or families who have lived here forever. You can hear children playing outside while we are trying to count the inventory. We don't really do the whole professional office thing. Most of our day is spent checking the thread or making sure the machines aren't acting up again. It is a lot of manual work and our hands stay busy from morning until evening. When the monsoon hits, the street gets a bit messy, but life goes on. We mostly deal with people who have been buying from us for a long time. They know where to find us in the back of the Basti. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come over and have a look. It is just a regular local business trying to get through the week like everyone else.
