Gagan General Store

We are located right here in Ludhiana, specifically at Street Number 2 in the Electrical Market Gali. Gagan General Store has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. Being so close to the Books Market means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Sati Sudan is a busy part of town, and we are just one of the many small shops tucked away in the lanes. Our day starts early when we pull up the shutters. It’s usually dusty from the street traffic, so the first thing is always a bit of cleaning. We don't have anything fancy here. It's just shelves filled with daily items that people in the area need. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people walk in at once. The space is tight, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and talking to the delivery guys who struggle to bring their carts through the narrow Gali. It’s a bit of a squeeze for everyone. We know the other shopkeepers around the Electrical Market well. We've seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. It’s a simple way of living, just running the shop and making sure things are available for the locals who stop by on their way home.
