V. K. Kalra Hosiery Works

We've been at E-205 Phase Lv Focal Point for quite a while now. V. K. Kalra Hosiery Works started out small, just making a few items for local folks. It's dusty out here sometimes but the work keeps us busy. We handle hosiery and usually have a few machines running all day. The neighborhood knows us as the place to go when you need things done right without a lot of fuss. My uncle started this and now a few of us keep it going. We don't have a big office or fancy chairs, just the workspace and the stuff we make. Most mornings start with tea and then we get to the machines. It’s a lot of manual work and checking pieces one by one. People stop by the gate and ask if we're hiring or just to say hello. We like being part of the Focal Point area. It's industrial, sure, but it feels like home. The machines are old but they work fine if you treat them okay. We spend most of our time making sure the orders are packed and ready to go out. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and try to stay organized in the middle of all the yarn and cloth. If you’re ever near Phase Lv, you’ll probably hear the noise from our unit. We're just regular people doing our job every day. We don't mind the noise much.
