Elite Engineering & General Works

Our workshop, Elite Engineering & General Works, is situated at 5-B in the Industries Estate. It’s a very basic and functional setup where we take on all kinds of general engineering tasks and repairs. There’s always some project or another lying around on the floor waiting for attention. We aren't a big corporation by any means, just a local shop with a few sets of hands who know the trade. The estate is full of similar businesses, so there’s a lot of noise, dust, and movement throughout the working day. We’ve got the standard lathes and tools you’d expect to find in a place like this. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people who just happen to be in the estate and need something fixed. We don't have a website with fancy photos or marketing people. If you come by, you’ll see the reality of it—lots of metal scraps and the constant smell of machine oil. It’s a steady, quiet life for us. We open up early and stay until the work for the day is mostly finished. Sometimes we have to wait on certain parts to arrive, which can be a bit frustrating, but we deal with it as it comes. We’ve been at 5-B for a long time and the neighborhood knows us well. We don't make big promises, we just look at the job and tell you if we can do it. It is a practical way to live.
