Door2Web is located over in Gill Marol. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on a screen all day. We’re just a small team. There’s no huge management structure or anything. If you call, you’re probably going to talk to one of the three or four of us who sit in the main room. We started this because we liked building things online, and we’ve stayed with it because it pays the bills and keeps us occupied. It’s not always exciting work. A lot of it is just checking code and making sure links don't break. We’ve had some long nights in this office, especially when a project gets stuck or something goes wrong that we didn't expect. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got some old chairs and a fridge that makes a weird humming sound, but it’s our space. We like being in Gill Marol because it’s easy to get to and there’s a decent place nearby for lunch. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the websites we work on actually work for the people using them. It’s honest work. Sometimes we get frustrated when things don't go right, but we usually figure it out eventually. That’s just the way it is here. We do our best with what we’ve got.
