Decent Apparels

We are located at V.P.O. Bajra on Rahon Road, which is a bit of a trek from the main part of the city. It’s a quieter area, mostly surrounded by open plots and some other small workshops. Decent Apparels is based in a plain building that we’ve used for years. It’s got a big front yard where we sometimes park our bicycles or leave the empty crates. The inside is just one large hall where all the sewing happens. We have about fifteen machines, and when they are all running at the same time, you can’t hear yourself think. We don’t have any fancy signs or branding. Most people around here just know us as the garment place on Rahon Road. The roof leaks a little bit during the heavy rains, so we have to move the fabric rolls to the center of the room sometimes. It’s not a corporate office with people in suits. We are all just local workers from the village who know how to sew. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the clothes we finish are good enough to be sold. Lunch is usually a quick affair with home-cooked food brought in steel boxes. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We are just a small part of the big garment industry, doing our bit in Bajra.
