Dharam Hosiery Works

You can find Dharam Hosiery Works at 202 Gathi Jivaram in the Bajwa Nagar area. We are located near the Roadwans Dharamsala. The area is quite lively and there’s always something going on in the street outside. Our workshop is mostly full of knitting machines and big rolls of yarn. It gets quite loud when all the machines are running at once. We produce different types of hosiery items here. It’s a family-run sort of vibe, even if we have a few helpers. The floors are concrete and we have to sweep up the lint every evening or it gets everywhere. We have some old wooden benches where we sit and check the finished pieces for any holes or loose threads. The lighting isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps over the work areas. It’s a humble place, nothing fancy at all. We’ve got stacks of boxes ready to be shipped out piled up by the door. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the exact spot in Bajwa Nagar because the lanes are narrow. We usually have to go out and wave them down. We drink a lot of chai here to keep going. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making good socks and undergarments for people who need them. It's simple work that keeps us busy from morning till night. We have been doing this for years.
