York Export

York Export is based in the Civil Line area of Ludhiana. This part of the city has always been a hub for this kind of work. We deal with exporting various goods, mostly clothing and textiles that Ludhiana is famous for. Our office is in a regular building on one of the main streets. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people overseas or in other parts of India. There is always a lot of paperwork with customs and shipping that needs to get done. We have a small warehouse space where we check the quality of the items before they get packed up for long journeys. It can be stressful when a shipment is delayed at the port, but we have learned to deal with those things over the years. The staff here is small and we all know each other well. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just like to do our jobs and go home to our families. Civil Line is a decent place to work from, even if the traffic gets bad in the afternoons. We have been around for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have on hand each day. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the boxes get where they need to go on time.
