Knits N Weaves

Knits N Weaves is located right in the middle of Chaura Bazar. Our address is number 194 on Maleri Street. If you have ever been to the bazar, you know how crowded and loud it gets. There are people everywhere and motorcycles trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes all day long. We are tucked away in one of those spots. Inside, it is a bit quieter than the street, but not by much. We have piles of fabrics and yarns all over the place. It is not the most organized looking shop, but we know where everything is kept. We spend most of our time working with the machines or talking to the people who walk in. Maleri Street is one of those old streets where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We have been at 194 for a long time. The building itself is old and has a lot of character, even if the walls could use some fresh paint one of these days. We do not do any fancy advertising. People just find us by walking through the market. Some days we have so much work we can barely move around the shop. Other days we just sit on the stools and wait for the next thing to do. It is just how we make a living. We like being part of the bazar because there is always something happening outside. We just do our knitting and weaving and keep going.
