Capricorn Two

Industrial Area A is a noisy place, and being at 396 means we are right in the middle of all the action. Capricorn Two is more of a workshop than a proper office. We have a lot of heavy boxes and some machinery that takes up most of the floor space. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the dust that comes in from the road. It isn't the kind of place where you would bring a guest for a fancy meeting. We mostly just focus on getting our daily orders sorted and making sure the inventory is correct. The staff is just a small group of us who have worked together for a long time. We don't wear uniforms, usually just old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. There is a small desk in the corner with a very old computer that we use for the billing. It’s always loud here because of the trucks loading and unloading next door, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. We drink a lot of tea from the stall across the street to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily, but we just move the boxes out of the way. It is a practical environment where we just get on with the work that needs doing. We don't have any polished speeches or corporate talk, just the usual daily grind.
