Bodla Machine Tools

We have been operating out of 67 Janta Nagar Industrial Area for a good while now. It is a bit of an old building, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do at Bodla Machine Tools. Every morning starts with the same routine of rolling up the heavy metal shutters and checking the list of things that need fixing or making. The industrial area is always noisy with the sound of other shops and the trucks moving through the narrow streets. You get used to the constant hum and the smell of grease after a few days. We have a small corner where we keep the records, but mostly the space is filled with heavy equipment and bits of metal. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the day, so we just sit outside on some wooden crates and wait for it to come back on. There is a tea stall nearby where everyone from the neighboring shops goes, and that is usually where we hear the local news. Our floor is almost always covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, no matter how many times we try to sweep it out at the end of the shift. It is not a very fancy place to work, but it is ours and we know where everything is kept. The days are usually long, and we go home pretty tired, but that is just part of the job here.
