Our place is out in Focal Point, Phase 8, at unit 208. If you know this part of the city, you know it is mostly industrial stuff and heavy trucks around here. We deal with technical parts and some machinery work for various clients. It is definitely not the kind of place where you come to browse or look at pretty displays. It is more about getting specific mechanical jobs done for other businesses or people who need something fabricated properly. The workshop is usually quite loud with the machines running, and there is always that heavy smell of oil and cut metal hanging in the air. We have been at this spot for a bit, and it works for us because the delivery trucks can get in and out fairly well, though Phase 8 gets very crowded during the morning rush. It is mostly just a few of us here handling the day-to-day tasks. We don’t have a fancy office, just a metal desk in the corner with a lot of papers and some old catalogs that have seen better days. Most days we are just busy with whatever order came in that morning or finishing up a project from last week. It is practical work and it gets our hands dirty. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to look up a part number or send a quick note to a supplier. It can get very dusty and greasy in the unit, but that is just the nature of working with hardware and power tools. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
