If you look for us, we are on the ground floor of House No - 337 in Village Balongi. It is right there in the Mohali area, part of the Rupnagar district. The space is a bit tight because we have to fit all the cutting tables and the sewing setups into a regular floor of a house. It gets a bit loud when everyone is working at once, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We focus mostly on pants, specifically those wider styles that people seem to keep asking for. It is a local operation, nothing too fancy or complicated. We hire people from the village and nearby areas because it's easier that way. The street outside is usually busy with people walking by and kids playing, so there is always something to see out the window. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we are making, they just come into the main workroom. We keep the registers and the paperwork on a small desk near the door. It is a bit of a squeeze when a big shipment comes in, and we have to stack boxes wherever they fit. We just do our best to keep up with the demand and make sure everything is stitched properly. It is a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Most of us have been here for years now.
