Balvir Engineers & Associates

Our shop is number 1988 and you can find it on Street Number 1, right along Ferozepur Road. We are in the Maharaj Nagar area, very close to the Circuit House. It’s a spot that has a lot of history and we’ve been part of it for some time now. Balvir started this firm and we’ve been working as engineers and associates ever since. The office is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There are stacks of technical manuals and gear sitting in the corners. It's definitely a working man’s office. You won't find any plush carpets here. The floor is just simple tile and the desks are made of heavy wood. We get a lot of noise from Ferozepur Road, especially during rush hour, but we’ve learned to tune it out. Sometimes we step out to the front of the shop to talk to neighbors or watch the cars go by. We handle a lot of engineering details that most people don't think about. It requires a lot of concentration and sometimes we spend hours just checking figures on a sheet. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We’ve seen the shops around us change owners many times, but we’ve stayed put in Maharaj Nagar. It’s a good place to be if you want to be in the heart of Ludhiana. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
