Mochpura Bazaar is a busy place, and we've been here in Gali No. 10 for quite some time now. If you're looking for us, we are right opposite Jia Lal Sweets. Most people know that spot. We deal with shawls every day. It gets dusty, and the street is narrow, but this is where we work. We have different kinds of wool and fabrics piled up on the shelves. Sometimes the colors look different under the tube light than they do outside, so we usually take things to the door to show people the real shade in the sun. My father started things here, and now I’m the one handling the customers and the stock. We don’t have fancy displays. Most of the stuff is just kept in plastic bags or stacked high so it doesn't get ruined by the humidity or dust. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding. By the time evening comes, the shop is a bit of a mess from people checking things out. We just tidy it up and start again the next morning. It’s not a big operation, just us doing what we know. The tea stall nearby brings us chai twice a day, and that’s how we keep going. Sometimes the traffic in the lane makes it hard for deliveries to reach us, but we manage. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just selling shawls to people who need them for the winters. That’s about it for us.
